Dave Lordan

Dave Lordan is now offering manuscript appraisal, editing, and proofreading services for writers at any stage of their career who are working on a book project and/or cannot commit to regular class attendance. For further details or if you would like honest, constructive and professional feedback on your work (at reasonable rates) contact Dave though dlordan@hotmail.com, 0870921117 or his website

He's also Guest Editor at The Stinging Fly.
'I am delighted to have been appointed guest editor of Ireland’s leading literary magazine The Stinging Fly for the summer 2012 issue. Keep an eye on their blog for details of the kind of submissions I will be seeking. Submission will be taken throughout January. '

Dave will be on Arena (RTE radio one) on Thursday the 30th of December to talk about his work and future plans, and on the 13th of December to review a massive new anthology of weird fiction. Weird fiction, like the sound of that...

A good editor is in so much demand now for all the indie authors. Sometimes I wonder if I should hang out my shingle.

Was thinking the same thing, Karen...if a shingle is what I think it is:)!

I like the idea of that service, Niamh.
I agree with Karen, the indie market is growing and people like Dave will probably become crucial as advisors/editors to indie/self publishing writers.
I really like the sound of the Weird fiction anthology.
